If you or a loved one is having a mental health crisis, please call immediately. Texas Health and Human Services operates 10 state hospitals for people with mental health issues. These hospitals are located across the state.
Each serves a different population, which may include: People involved with the justice system. Texas Health and Human Services contracts with 37 local mental health authorities and two local behavioral health authorities to deliver mental health services in communities across Texas.
